Cheyette Fitness Terms & Conditions

 

1. Introduction

 

Welcome to Cheyette Fitness. By purchasing a membership and using our facilities, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before accepting. If you have any questions, please contact us for clarification before proceeding.

 

2. Membership Payment Terms

 

Recurring Card Payment: Membership payments are processed via a recurring card payment linked to the card details provided during sign-up. This is not a direct debit or standing order, and it is not linked to your bank account.

 

Rolling Membership: Your membership will automatically renew each month on the same date and time that you signed up unless cancelled.

 

Cancellation: You can cancel your membership at any time by selecting the "Leave Cheyette Fitness" option on our app or by selecting My Subscriptions on the website. Please note, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to complete the cancellation process. Cheyette Fitness cannot cancel memberships on behalf of customers, and no refunds will be provided for payments taken due to late cancellation. Once cancelled, no further payments will be taken.

 

Failed Payments: If a payment fails, you will be notified, and access to the facilities may be restricted until the payment is resolved.

 

3. General Terms of Use

 

Age Restrictions: Members must be at least 16 years old to use the gym or attend classes. The minimum age for sunbed use is 18 years.

 

ID Verification: We operate a Challenge 25 policy for sunbed usage. If you appear under 25, valid photo ID will be required to confirm your age.

 

Health and Safety: Members are responsible for ensuring they are fit to exercise. If you have any health concerns, consult a medical professional before using our facilities.

 

Code of Conduct: Members must respect staff, other users, and the facilities. Aggressive, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in membership termination.

 

4. Facilities and Services

 

Gym: Our gym is equipped with brand-new Precor commercial equipment, organized into distinct zones for ease of use. Members must book gym sessions via our app, use equipment as instructed, and report any faults to staff immediately.

 

Fitness Classes: We offer approximately 100 classes per week, including Les Mills programs, yoga, Pilates, and more. Class schedules are subject to change. Please book classes via our app.

 

Sunbed: Sunbed sessions are not included in the membership and must be paid for separately. Usage is subject to our policies and age restrictions.

 

Recovery Area: Complimentary vibrating massage guns are available in the recovery area for member use.

 

Car Parking: Free parking is provided for members. Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.

 

5. Membership Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

Voluntary Cancellation: As mentioned above, you can cancel your membership at any time via the app or website. Payments already made are non-refundable.

 

Facility Closure: In the event of a temporary closure (e.g., maintenance, emergencies), no refunds will be issued unless the closure exceeds 14 consecutive days.

 

Changes to Membership Terms: We reserve the right to update membership terms. Members will be notified of any significant changes.

 

6. Liability

 

Member Responsibility: Members use the facilities at their own risk. Cheyette Fitness is not liable for injuries or accidents unless caused by our negligence.

 

Personal Belongings: Lockers are provided, but Cheyette Fitness accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

 

7. Amendments to Terms

Cheyette Fitness reserves the right to update these terms and conditions. Members will be notified of changes via email or app notification. Continuing to use the facilities after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
